Apologies first for the late newsletter. This was my last week of full luxury unemployment before I start a very exciting gig (details soon) and I spent it in Florida on an artistic collaboration. More on that soon, too.

But boy howdy I kind of got lucky, because some really incredible news dropped in just the last hour. In fact, the entire week was incredibly packed with hilarious bad news for a variety of scammers, grifters, and criminals. Let’s fucking goooooooooo.

Craig Wright Is Not Satoshi Nakamoto

Before Craig sues me, that’s not my claim!

That’s according to Christen Ager-Hansen, the now-former CEO of nChain, who should know. The inscrutable shell company largely served for years to create a paper-thin veneer of fake legitimacy around “Bitcoin Satoshi’s Vision,” or BSV, a fork of Bitcoin created in 2018.

Ager-Hansen announced in a tweet on Friday that he is resigning from nChain, after reporting suspicions of fraud at the corporate level to the board.

“I have also reported,” he continues, “that I have found compelling evidence that Dr Craig Wright has manipulated documents with the aim to deceive the court he is Satoshi. I’m today myself convinced that Dr Craig Wright is NOT Satoshi and I’m persuaded he will lose all his legal battles.”
